I recorded the Celebrity Apprentice this week and was watching it this morning. See my girls got up before the sun did as per usual and I’m not going to reward them for that kind of terrible behaviour by letting them watch childrens television. So Celebrity Apprentice it was and the challenge for this weeks episode - The teams are to create a receptacle for bringing in old Crocs and recycling them for impoverished countries.

The womens team decided to create a giant Croc as their recycling bin.

Now Annie has decided that instead of her lovely toy box I worked so hard to make pretty she wants a giant pink croc toy box.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Can you imagine it, a giant pink Croc standing in the corner instead of their lovely toy box.

:: sob ::

I don’t want no giant pink Croc.

So the Celebrity Apprentice has become banned viewing in this house and the evil evil Night Garden is now on instead.

lol…..

Nooooo is right.

I love the pink and purple shades you use. Similar to WGO’s colour scheme.

Love the crocs idea … the recycle one that is lol. I don’t think a big pink one would make very good furniture.

OK, so why is ‘In The Night Garden’ evil? Riley loves it and I have to suffer watch it at least twice a day.

Thank you everyone, it is a great relief to me to know I was not being unreasonable in my refusal (and horror).

Karen - The Night Garden drives me crazy. I think because Heidi echo’s so much of it all the time. I have to be careful what she watches because of the echo’ing thing, once something gets stuck in her speech patterns it is very hard to remove. And no-one else is going to understand when she is asking for her ‘uff uff’.

Rachael, Funny you should mention Spongebob because that is what Annie is watching right now.

Sorry, Annie. It will look ugly, ugly, ugly next to your beautiful bookshelf.

Comment by Anja May 15, 2008 @ 6:06 pm

Okay, I’ll admit it. I think Crocs are creepy.

I am happy to hear that the are recycling crocs, at least that makes up for their ugliness! That room is way too pretty to have something non pink and plastic in it.

So relieved I’m not the only one who really really dislikes crocs and especially the idea of a giant croc toy box.
