Hubby and I have decided to boycott the WWE at our house (due to their affiliation with Jenny McCarthy and Generation Rescue). A small drop in the ocean to them but in this consumer driven society it seems the most powerful voice we have is to not spend our money on their product.

Well, The Spouse and FB already declared they were never watching it again after I read out your post last night, so that’s 2 households!

Aha, I’m glad you linked otherwise I’d have had to ask you for a translation!
Fortunately we are spared from such things around here PBS and a smidge or two elsewhere.
Best wishes

It was already banned here. How do you explain to a six year old that hitting someone with a chair, or the other day a truck, can kill some one when they can clearly see that it does no harm on the tv.

I’m sorry your light entertainment has been taken away. I’m a nurse and it has always bothered me that vaccines are commonly used as the reason for Autism (and other problems). Like you said there is NO evidence to link the two together

Jayne – thank you.
Maddy – I’m starting to think we’d be better off without cable, all the anger this has caused in our family.
Eve – It is hard to explain isn’t it. Thankfully my girls have been satisfied with the ‘no wrestling moves until you go to wrestling school’.
Itching to Stitch – Thank you. Such a shame that children get put at risk of getting these terrible diseases because their parents have been frightened off vaccinating them.
