I was still very wobbly yesterday.
My wonderful 19yo Niece R took Heidi and Annie for several hours which gave me a chance to regain my sanity. I washed all the dishes that had been building up over the days I was out of action. Then I decided to clean mould off the wall in the dining room – being that I discovered it there and once I knew it was there I had to do something about it.
It actually felt really good to do some physical activity, I got to watch two episodes of Supernatural while washing the dishes (yay for laptop computers) and listened to music loud while cleaning the walls. That was great.
Fathers night at Annies Pre-School last night. BIL D was there and also Niece R’s boyfriend who Annie had asked to go with her
. From all reports it was a fun evening.
Swimming this morning, Heidi and Annie are now in the same class and doing great. Heidi is scared of jumping off the side of the pool when they do their diving practice but even with the tears and reluctance she did do it – and got a sticker for being so brave.
The Gastroenterologist office rang and they’ve moved my appointment forward to Monday afternoon next week. Just quietly that makes me very scared. Apparently they found a mass on the MRI. Not Crohns related, not sure exactly what it is. The colonoscopy should give them more info. Hopefully it is scarring from previous surgery. My doctor did say I’m too young for bowel cancer, but it is there niggling at the back of my head that maybe I will be the one to be different and get it young. Anyways fingers crossed for something simple and not scary.
And ending on a positive note check out what I got in my fruit and veggie box for my $35AU this week!

Hope it’s nothing …
It’s great you have such a nice family
Heidi is such a great person and she does more thing than regular 3 yo will be doing. Do you realize that? She does more things than Steb does !!!

Glad you got the walls scrubbed. Hope that you get good news from the specialist. Great that the girls had a good time at their preschool Fathers Night.

Crossing fingers and lifting prayers that it’s nothing.
I’m glad you are otherwise feeling better and got some time to yourself (even if it was cleaning).

All my fingers crossed for you that it is something not-too-scary-after-all. And yes, Chiloe is right, Heidi is doing great! Finn didn’t start swimming until he was 4, and after one session, he just about didn’t go back in the water. He is still quite timid after a year and a half of lessons, but at least he enjoys them.
