Ohhh look at what arrived in the mail:

Pretty angel earrings from Bettina.
Annie is in love with them.
I’ve been having lots of fun on the Wii Fit, also using the treadmill every day. Getting in a good combination of exercise. The girls and I take turns on the Wii Fit during the day, it is amazing how quickly the time passes when you are all taking turns – I’ve already racked up an hour today!
Yesterday we had a family birthday party for my nephew L and Heidi. Their birthdays are at the end of January, but we had the party now while everyone is here (family visiting from interstate).
I made Heidi a birthday cake:

and had enough cake left to make her another with wrestlers standing in a field of hearts:

Couldn’t compete with my Nephews cake though, his Mum works for Mars and they were doing special orders at the factory so he got a Mars Bar cake made in the shape of the number 5:

The girls Aunt J arrived from Sydney and handed out Christmas presents, my girls were thrilled with their big bag of dress ups.

I’m feeling more positive. When we visited the dentist recently he said the ulcer in my mouth was a sign of a viral infection. Pondering that might have contributed to my feeling so depressed. The exercise is certainly helping and I’m trying to balance 30 minutes of internet time/watching DVD/Stitching with 30 minutes of doing something exercise/housework etc. Its not perfect but it is good as I can get right now and I’m working really hard to not beat myself up for not doing things perfectly. I get really upset when I can’t do something ‘just right’ and then I don’t bother doing it again or I put it off for as long as possible which is not good. Thus I work on ‘it is okay to not be perfect’.

Love the angel earrings – I have a pair just like them.
…and it looks like you really have been busy with all the Wiiing and cake making.

A doctor and a witch. Now that’s a weird combination. *sniggers*
The earrings are gorgeous.

The earrings are gorgeous
And I love the dress-ups too.
Please look after yourself, especially if you have a viral infection which may or may not be contributing to the depression. The wii Fit sounds like a great way to get some exercise and include the girls. Take care OK?

Great earrings !!!
It’s great we picked up exercise at the same time: we can motivate each other
My muscles feel sore today: I don’t know if I should weight training today. If I had found my DVD: walk the pounds off, I could do another kind of exercise .
with me, when I don’t do things correctly, I sometimes prefer not to do anything …
bad bad girl
can’t help it though …

It’s okay not to be perfect. It’s okay not to be perfect. I’ll repeat it along with you. It sure needs to be beaten into my head!
I’ve been aiming at a minimum of 30 mins on the Wii, and coming in around 1 hour so far, and am dreaming of … mini skirts. Yep.
