Not Quite Wordless Wednesday – School Holiday Fun
Love this face:
Ice Skating – Annie has been obsessed with ice skating every since she saw the movie ‘Ice Princess’. The shops near us have an Ice Skating school holiday activity. It is not really ice, but big plastic blocks. The girls loved it. Annie in the pink shirt, Heidi in the red long sleeved shirt.

Heidi loved ‘tripping over’ skating

Oh, I love that face, too!
The skating solution is a brilliant way to avoid broken bones and the other problems that plague “real” ice skating!

The blocks are plastic? Are they proper ice skates, on a ‘blade’ ?

I’ve never seen a proper ice skate in real life so would be pressed to say if they were the same. They did have a metal blade type thing at the bottom and certainly looked very similar to me.
