I had a rather urgent need to go to the toilet earlier today. Off I rushed down the corridor to our bathroom and stepped into the shower stall.
I stood there, possibly with a very confused expression on my face. My thoughts were going something like this.
“I can’t remember what to do!”
“How can I have forgotten to go to the toilet?”
“Do I need to purchase Potty Training for Dummies?”
“I step in the shower stall and then what do I usually do?”
“Whoa! Back Up! I’m in the shower stall WTF???”
and I walked across to the toilet and all was right with the world.
But I’d still like to know how my brain on auto pilot directed me to the shower stall rather than the toilet.
Someone hand over the caffine?

OMG you need specialist help NOW!
(…and so do I for I am sure I have also donw something like this … but my memory is so dodgy all I can think about is the pantry stare where I look and look at where something SHOULD be instead of looking for where it actually is)

Oh dear
I can rarely leave the house with everything I need, and on the weekend I had trouble remembering the names of people I have known for fifteen years!!!
Fuzzy brain has been afflicting me too, though not to this extent

I hate going into a room, knowing that there was a ‘real’ purpose for going there, and promptly forgetting, so frustrating. As for a caffeine fix, sometimes I think that an intravenous (sp?) line might be useful.
