It is 9.30am Sunday morning and the last thing I want to be doing is my taxes. Yet there the massive towering pile of papers sit demanding attention.
So I’m working very hard calculating my profits for the games FarmTown and FarmVille on Facebook. It has bugged me for a while that some crops may look like they have a higher profit but the longer growing time means your profit is divided over a number of days.
Here are my spreadsheets where I’ve calculated the profits / hour of growing time and then spread that out to a daily profit. Things like Raspberries have a very high daily profit but require lots of work because you need to harvest every 2 hours. And of course prices can vary and in FarmTown you can sell for more if someone else harvests for you. But if you do it all yourself this is the breakdown.
Are you on Facebook? What games are you sadly addicted to – Facebook or otherwise? And how can I continue to avoid doing my taxes and still get them in on time?

I don’t do facebook … I’m already very busy and don’t even have time to blog as often as before anymore …
I can’t even imagine to have to do the taxes for some imaginary game 
(real taxes are already a pain !!! lol) Have fun

I’m doing real taxes for the Australian taxman. Our financial year ends on 30th June.
Avoiding doing the taxes by playing online games.

Ahem. Fish Wrangler and Pack Rat. And that’s all I’m gonna say about *that*! I have managed to delete most other time sucking games, but recently have been introduced to Typing Maniac and Farkle, which are okay.

pretty much any of the word games on FB are a a danger when I’m avoiding uni work. But at least you can play single games or 1 minutes games of bejwelled blitz.
I will not return to farmville/ farmtown/ which ever one I got sucked into because the crops rot if you don’t get back to the computer in time ….

That’s a little more effort than i usually put into my games.. but its fun because you never have drought or pests to worry a body like if you had real life farm
