Today was the first day of the school holidays and will hopefully not be setting a precedent for the next two weeks.
9am drama class for Annie
11am speech therapy for Heidi
12md speech therapy for Annie
3pm drama class for Annie (to make up for the one we missed last week).
It was a busy day for lots of driving, each session went for 45-60 minutes so it was fairly intense. Annie coped very well but was ready for bed by 7pm tonight.
I will say the Voice and Movement drama classes in Mont Albert are a fantastic way to do social skills training for children on the autism spectrum. Annie just loves going there and we’ve already booked both girls in for next year
Now some photos from our day
We had to keep Heidi entertained while Annie was in Drama Class so during the first class we went for a walk around Mont Albert, she and Ralph were so cute together I tried to get some photos.

Heidi was fascinated by what looks like a suit of armour artwork in a shop window display. Those chairs for sale in the window beside the suit of armour were a mere $2,500 each.

We decided to get Heidi something to eat to keep her entertained and she fell in love with a butterfly gingerbread biscuit in the store window, which was $6!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it was back to get Annie with enough time for Daddy to read Heidi his fav. sorry “Hugs” by Jez Alborough

Then there was a made rush around at speech therapy at which time I only snapped one picture which was the cool ceiling rose in the waiting room

Back in Mont Albert again and I managed to break the car rear vision mirror just after we’d parked the car. So repairing that kept Heidi entertained for a short while (thank god for electrical tape). Then it was time for the drive home…

It was a stunning biscuit. I was mightly impressed with their skills. Tasted yummy too which is equally important.

Sometimes, it’s such an effort to get them to look at the camera, isn’t it? Thank heavens for digital cameras – no more spending 20 bucks to develop a roll of film that has one decent photo on it!!
